In the 1980's, we purchased a home with a barn. I wanted horses, but Ed said, "lets get a llama". My reaction was, "a llama? No way!". Then, when at a flea market, I saw my first llama. Within two weeks, we owned two llamas. In the next few years, the herd grew to 70. Recently we have cut the herd to 36, so we could specialize in raising Argentines. From the minute we saw our first Argentine, we knew we had to raise these very special animals. They have such great disposition, bone, silky fiber, and correct conformation. We are located in Raymond, California, just outside of Yosemite National Park Call, write, or e-mail us any time. We love to talk llamas (209) 742-4426 or mcshaggyllamas@sti.net. See you at the shows!
